Antique traditional jacket from the Northern region of Japan, Tsugaru, this is a very beautiful traditional folk wear garment, a sashiko hanten. Beautiful embossed sashiko on indigo dyed Kasuri cotton fabric. This item is in very good condition. Lovely fabric.
