Sakebukuro (Sake Bags)

These hemp cloth bags were used to make Sake, dyed naturally with Persimmon, the sake dripped through bags imparting different shades to the bags, they were repaired over time to give them each unique character and have become highly prized for use in modern garments and accessories.
