Stunning Meiji period Kimono made of a wonderful thick hand-woven cotton fabric. The indigo dye , with dan tsunagi (connected steps) pattern which has faded look and the plain indigo dye is reinforced along the inside of the hem creating a stylish design.
There are a few small holes and some damage to the collar, hem, and cuffs. It has a wonderful period feel to this traditional Japanese workwear kimono.
